Chacarita Cemetery: free walking tour

This is a tour to know a different neighbourhood, its history, and the biggest cemetery in the city with graves of artists and literati. This cemetery is less touristy than Recoleta, but it is a real opportunity to be in touch with an actual “barrio porteño”. If you join me, I will talk about relevant people from our culture and history, so you can have more information about this beautiful city
We will start the tour at the entrance of the cemetery, and we will talk about the history of the neighbourhood and the reason why this place was created.
Then, we will continue our journey to discover  important people from different fields, such as politics, arts, and sports, as I was to dig into our culture
We will be walking through the main part of Chacarita Cemetery, for about one and a half hours.
Not only is it a tour to appreciate the Urban design and architectural features of this cemetery, but it is also a way to discover Argentina's history and the characteristics of our society.
Besides, I can give you pieces of advice about other places to visit in this beautiful city.
