James was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable We were the only two, due to others cancelling last minute, which was a massive bonus for us, with discussions on different topics which showed how good Jame's knowledgeable was of London.

This was one of my favorite tours taken in London - including the paid ones. Justin gives great history, book recommendations, attraction and food recommendations, and tips. So fascinating and it was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend, I would do any of his tours!

I really enjoyed this walk. The setting was beautiful, but the information was even more interesting. The guide clearly knew their stuff and made the history easy to follow. Would happily recommend.

Justin was great, facts and humor, the tour was about less known sides of English history, ver interesting and surprising

Very insightful. Nuanced approach to challenging subject matter delivered in an engaging way. Recommend bringing an extra layer and warm drink if during colder months. I visited a skyline viewing platform that was recommended by Justin, also fascinating, but be aware of closing times to catch this after the tour.

Fantastic tour with a brilliant global perspective! Justin is an exceptional tour guide. Because of his background as an economist, he delivers a fair and truthful look at history from a global viewpoint. He connected the dots between 19th-century history like the East India Company, insurance giants, and the Opium War, and modern economics, such as the current US-China tariff trade wars. I really respected his honesty about the historical impact of Western powers in China in 1840s. He connected the past to the present so flawlessly that the entire narrative felt thorough and complete. If you are looking for a history tour that is truthful, balanced, and incredibly insightful, make sure to book with Justin.
