Michael Wittmann is one of the most famous Panzer commanders of the German Army of World War II. In total, it is estimated that he shot down more than 140 enemy tanks . We will start the Tour in the highest area of the town of Villers Bocage , next to where Michael Wittmann entered with his Tiger on the morning of June 13, 1944 . There we will explain the entire history of the German Ace, until his arrival in Normandy.

We will stop at each place where enemy tanks were shot down , which can still be recognized today from the photographs of the time.
