Free tour Museum and Cathedral of Santiago

Come and discover the Museum and the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela with a very special visit that will begin at the Plaza del Obradoiro, right in front of its museum.

We will tour the museum halls, exploring its Romanesque part, with its choir and its majestic marble columns as we continue to the upper floors to appreciate the images of pregnant Virgins. Curious, right? We will also see its cloister with all the museum rooms and finish by accessing the impressive balcony with views of the Obradoiro.

After finishing the Museum, we will enter the interior of the Cathedral of Santiago without queuing to appreciate its main altar of gold leaf, its baroque organs, and the main chapels.

Our sustainability policy ensures that our guided tours are conducted calmly and without rush. The standard duration is two hours. This tour is conducted with radio guides if there are more than 10 people signed up for the visit to ensure better quality of the tour. 


🚨The visit requires a prior payment of 9 euros per person, which will be made when purchasing the museum tickets🚨.

 🚨  🚨 The person booking the tour is responsible for having the tickets purchased. They are priced at 9€ per person (Permanent collection: Museum and temporary exhibition room) and must be purchased on the same day of the visit 15 minutes before the visit (the ticket price will not be refunded if purchased earlier and if, due to organizational reasons or not reaching the minimum number of participants, the free tour has to be canceled). It is advisable to consider the discounts for students, pilgrims, or seniors offered by the Cathedral when purchasing your tickets. The Cathedral also offers visits to the Tower or Roofs which are NOT included in this reservation. 🚨 🚨 
 

The characteristic free payment of the free tours will be made by each client at the end of the visit inside the Cathedral of Santiago to make the most of the entry in cash or card.

The visit may undergo changes if the church does not allow access to some of its chapels or if the usual mass schedule is modified.
