Hello, my name is Patricia. I am a young girl, born and raised in Havana, the daughter of artist parents, so art has always been an important part of my life. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Havana, and I have been working as a tour guide for several months, but showing above all the historical part of our history, so this time I wanted to focus more on its artistic life ( although, if you are interested in learning more about the history and architecture of Old Havana, you can still write to me).
Hello guys, how are you? My name is Patricia, and I come to offer you a street art tour.
Havana is a city with a lot of history, but little is shown about the cultural life that is developing today throughout Cuba, and street art is one of the most beautiful and transformative samples of that cultural life.
Although we can find examples of this form of artistic expression throughout the city, we will focus specifically on San Isidro street in Old Havana , where a community project is being developed with the aim of promoting literary and international street art, as well as raising the quality of life in the neighborhood.
We will leave from the port avenue, at the beginning of San Isidro street, and we will walk up the street, seeing the most important points of street art in the area, until we reach the Taller Gorría Gallery , one of the most important independent art galleries in the area, as well as being a great place to learn about the work of Jorge Perrugorría, actor and Cuban film director.
If you are interested in knowing a little more, make a reservation, and I will be happy to share this experience with you.
I will be right in the park that crosses Avenida del Puerto, on the corner of San Isidro street. Nearby there is a restaurant called Paco's Mar. I will always wear a white cap with flowers drawn on it.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
