Free tour of Ottawa's historical sites in small groups!
Enjoy a pleasant walk through downtown Ottawa!
We will start in front of the National Gallery next to the large spider sculpture Maman. From there, we head to the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica, then to the beautiful Major's Hill Park, a place where tulip festivals are held, then to Parliament Hill, passing by the historic Chateau Laurier Hotel, and to our center of democracy, Parliament Hill (a former military camp), plus a special lookout over the Ottawa River.
Next is the National War Memorial, to the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and ending at the lively Byward Market, a place full of restaurants and shops.
