Hey there! I'm Asha and I am a licensed tourist guide. Ljubljana has been my home sweet home since day one. You know what makes me smile? Pedaling through the city on my bike, visiting the central market, hanging out with friends and sipping coffee at charming cafes beside the river Ljubljanica. I particularly enjoy capturing special moments through my camera, and there are so many opportunities to do that in Ljubljana. Colors have a special place in my heart- especially turquoise and various shades of blue, but if I would have to choose one color that represents home for me it would be green. Nature has a calming effect on me, and lying on a blanket in a beautiful natural spot like Tivoli Park, is my secret stress-buster. I like living in Ljubljana because it provides me with the opportunity to engage in many activities that I deeply enjoy. It's a beautiful city, green, and although it is one of the smallest capitals of Europe it has a rich history and a vibrant culture. I really enjoy giving tours in Ljubljana and sharing its unique charm with visitors. So I invite you to join me on a walk in Ljubljana’s Old Town and discover its hidden treasures as we make memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for joining me!
Discover the perfect blend of history, culture, and tradition as we embark together on an enchanting journey through Ljubljana’s Old Town.
We will explore the most emblematic places of the Old Town, uncover details that aren't apparent at first glance, and immerse ourselves in the stories that breathe life into the visited sites.
Our journey begins in one of my favorite spots in Medieval Ljubljana. Along the way we'll pause at various spots to unveil the answers to a series of captivating questions:
So if these questions intrigue you, I warmly welcome you to join my tour and together we can create an enriching experience in Ljubljana. It would be a pleasure to meet you and introduce you to the charms of my hometown.

I'll wait for you in front of the entrance of the Municipal Museum building (Mestni Muzej). You will recognize me by the green flag that I will carry with me. Near the museum there is a church and if it is closed (which is usually the case), you can sit on the stairs. If you arrive at the meeting point early enough, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the museum cafeteria (every day except Monday). To enter the cafeteria you do not have to pay the entrance to the museum.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
