About the guru Yassine
Hi everyone, I would love to think of myself as a wild, helpful and a freedom loving person. Hi everyone, I would love to think of myself as a wild, helpful and a freedom loving person. This world is big, not as big as our imagination but big enough to be curious about what's out there, in the wild nature, and in the different civilisations in the the urbanized parts. The landscapes, the road, the culture, the history, and most importantly the people I meet along the way is what motivates me, keeps me going, and inspires me to keep traveling. My name is Yassine Barkhoukh, I am a student of the English department at the University of arts, FLSH in Casablanca Morocco, I am passionate about learning languages, and I'm also interested in culture, I am currently learning Japanese. My aim is to become a polyglot and travel the world --on foot, or bicycle :D My favorite quotes: - "Do It Because You Can". Pink Guy - "I don't care if you're black, white, straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, short, tall, fat, skinny, rich or poor. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Simple as that!" Eminem I love to learn, I'm open to any ideas considering learning, lifestyle, health, self-development ...
About the tour
Note: This tour will not be available again until 2021. But feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Casablanca or traveling in Morocco. I'll be happy to help
The tour's meeting point is usually in downtown area, and we start by entering:
- The old Medina: where you get to see the Souks (markets), historical monuments, and learn about some of the culture along the way to: Hassan II Mosque: where you get to see the tallest mosque Minaret in the world, hang around the mosque, and if you like it, you can book a tour to go inside the mosque. After that, head back to downtown, through the Market of the old Medina to end the tour. And on weekends to take the tram to Drb Sultan, to see the local market for clothes, spices, and olives, etc, and the Camel meet market just close by. And we finish close to Habous (New Medina): where you can walk more or get some souvenirs.
*My tours' schedule can change every week due to my University's fluctuating class schedule.
*Don't go to the meeting point without confirmation.
*The full tour is 4 hours, but we can rest or have a drink(s) along the way and that would make it longer. And I don't have a problem dedicating the hole day if you still want to see more :D
*The tour is very flexible, it can be change to suit your pace, preference, or time.
Have a great time in Morocco :)
