Have you ever wondered why Galicians answer with a question, why they emigrated so much, why they are so superstitious, why Galician is so similar to Portuguese or why seafood in Galicia is so famous?
Let yourself be guided by a Galician from Costa da Morte and another from Ferrolterra, two official guides from Galicia who emigrated and practiced their profession abroad for 10 years, until morriña did its job and they returned home.
We will begin the visit in Plaza San Miguel, a quiet square to make an introduction, laying the foundations of the history of Galicia and the reason for its particularities. From there we will go to a historical library to talk about the origin of their language. We will continue the visit, touring at all times the lesser-known area of the historic center of Santiago, addressing topics such as the Galician historical festivals, superstitions, historical politicians, gastronomy, the climate...To end the tour at a beautiful viewpoint, next to the sculpture of who has surely been the person who has best represented Galicians throughout history, Rosalía de Castro, to address, of course, the issue of Galician emigration.
