About the tour

This walk will lead you to the heart of the Renaissance in Florence. It is the best way to start your visit to the city, or to get to know, in just 120 minutes, the most important sites in the historic center so that you can spot those deserving a thorough, deeper visit in the near future. Ideal for getting your bearings and having fun!

Places visited during the walk:

1. Ponte Vecchio, Vasarian Corridor

2. Alleyways and hidden squares of medieval Florence

3. Piazza della Signoria, Loggia dei Lanzi

4. Mercato del Porcellino, Palazzo Vecchio

5. San Firenze square, Santa Croce square and church

6. Bargello Museum, Old Florentine Benedictine Abbey

7. Dante's House-Museum, Dante's church

8. Dome, Giotto's Bell tower, St. John's Baptistery

9. Medici-Riccardi Palace, San Lorenzo church and Medici's Chapel

10. Santa Maria Novella square and church

For logistical reasons, the tour must be booked at least 12 hours before the starting time.

Consider that once reached the maximum number of participants the tour will be closed., so you better book now. Thank you.

You can have a thorough, panoramic view of Florence, its churches, towers and bridges, by joining me in the tour:

What's the price?

A guruwalk is a pay-what-you want walking tour, which means, it's completely free to book and join the group, but the 'guru' expects to be rewarded once the tour ends. Some people give 5, some people give 50, you choose the price.

Reservations in advance are mandatory because if the 'guru' doesn't see any bookings one day, she will not show up at the meeting point. Or if she has too many 'walkers' that day, won't allow you to join without the reservation. Booking is completely free, fast and easy. Book your guruwalk now!

Atahualpa fue amable y correcto con los del grupo. Si que es verdad que esperaba un tour más completo a la hora de información y orden de los puntos del tour como vimos en Milán y Venecia, todos ellos también free tour de otras empresas. Pero en general bien

Response from Atahualpa:

Gracias por tu valoración David. Trataré de aportar más información, una tarea difícil en un recorrido que busca cubrir el mayor número posible de lugares de interés, en dos horas. Gracias por tu participación.

No sabía nada. Su muletilla es “que te voy a decir si lo estás viendo” No flaco, si contrato un guía es para que me explique lo que estoy viendo.

Response from Atahualpa:

Qué pena que no hayas asistido al tour por entero. Afortunadamente, hay más de 400 personas que tienen una opinión diferente. Gracias por tu participación.
