Rome Tour with an artist
The tour begins in front of the Coliseum and Costantino's arch. It continues walking along the Imperial Forums Street, passing by the Trajan Makets and Column and the Vittoriano Palace. A visit at Trevi Fountain, then, passing by the Marcus Aurelius Column and an historical icecream shop, we arrive at the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola in Campus Martius. The next stop is the Pantheon with Raphael Sancti's tomb, near an historical delicious coffee bar, then we'll visit the Church of St. Louis of the French with three artworks by Michelangelo Merisi (Caravaggio): "The Calling of St Matthew", "The Inspiration of Saint Matthew","The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew" . We arrive at Piazza Navona where we can admire the Four River Fountain by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, the two fountains of Moro and Triton and the church of Saint Agnes in Agone by Francesco Borromini. Near piazza Navona we could see Pasquino the "speaking statue". The tour ends at Campo de' Fiori in front of the statue of Giordano Bruno and near a classical italian pizza and bread bakery. We could have variations, according with the time we have, visiting the curch "Saint Peter in Chains" in Colle Oppio, containing the "Moses" by Michelangelo or the curch "Santa Maria del Popolo" with the "Conversion on the way to Damascus" and "Crucifixion of Saint Peter" two masterpieces by Caravaggio.
