We begin at the legendary Sundial and continue to the Museum of the Royal Houses, which revives the colonial era. We then visit the majestic Plaza España and the imposing Alcázar de Colón, the former residence of the first governors.
We continue to the Juan Pablo Duarte Wax Museum, which revives key moments in Dominican history, and then explore the Nicolás de Bari Hospital, a witness to centuries of healing.
After a short break, we walked down the vibrant Calle El Conde, full of life, culture, and commerce, until we reached the peaceful Parque Colón, where the statue of the great explorer stands.
We will also visit the Primate Cathedral of America, the first in the New World and a symbol of faith and architectural legacy.
We conclude our tour at Fortaleza Ozama, the first European military structure in the Americas.
