Discover Gothenburg like never before on this free walking tour of the city's most iconic and picturesque spots.

From the historic docks to the most charming neighborhoods, we will tell you stories of kings, merchants, and artists who shaped the city, and explore how Sweden became the country we know today: its political, economic, and social history that shaped its culture and cities. This tour is perfect for those who want to have a first approach to Gothenburg and a relaxed walk through the heart of Gothenburg. Our idea is for it to be a close tour, with historical facts, but also a casual conversation where we exchange questions and share our personal experience living in Gothenburg.

We start at Stenpiren, with the Delawaremonumentet; continue to Kronhuset, Gustaf Adolfs Torg, central square; Stora Teatern/Avenyn; Saluhallen, Systembolaget, University of Gothenburg, Hagakyrkan, Haga District, and end at Järntorget, history of trade and modern life.
