Historical downtown tour in Guanajuato (free tour, pay as you wish)

Cannot recommend this tour with Silvia highly enough! She provided a great history of Guanajuato, from ancient to modern times; all pertaining to the places we saw along the way. She explained the wonderful architecture and significance of the unique topography of Guanajuato. She was fun, thorough, and professional, and clearly very well-versed in everything about the city. The information we learned enhanced the five days spent here after our tour. Plus she made herself available for questions via WhatsApp!

In recent years I have done walking tours in several cities with some very good guides but Sylvia was by far the best. She is well organized, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. Her fabulous command and fluency of English made it easy to absorb the stories. Sylvia is passionate about history. She made learning about the history of Guanajuato fun.
