Free tour of the historic center of Mahón

We'll begin at Plaça de s'Esplanada and stroll along the lively Calle Moreres to the Teatro Principal, Spain's oldest opera house. We'll then walk down Calle Hannover, whose facades reflect Anglo-Saxon influence, and arrive in the heart of the city to admire the Town Hall and the Church of Santa María.

We'll continue to the Museum of Menorca, a former Franciscan convent that safeguards Talayotic and local history, and visit the Mercado del Claustro del Carmen, a vibrant and charming neoclassical space. The tour culminates in Plaza de la Miranda, a privileged viewpoint with panoramic views of Mahón's natural harbor, the second largest in the world.
