The Poble Nou de Benitatxell recovers, with tourist uses, the Serp path. A path formerly used by farmers to climb the terraces, corrals and lime kiln of Puig de la Llorença is now reborn as a tourist route. This route takes its name from the meandering shapes that characterize the ridges that arise at the foot of Puig Llorença, just from where the winding path that gave access to the cultivation terraces, corrals and lime kilns starts. The traditional use of the path was to facilitate movement on foot between various areas of the mountain. “The terraces conquered the mountains, hence the importance of the Serp route.
