We Cubans are hospitable, good, educated, we are not on the street looking for foreigners, we are working, studying, doing something. Cuba is a very safe country, but these people exist and I would not like if they fell into the wrong hands. It is good that they want to help us, but those who really deserve or need it. Después de lograr la independencia de España, ¿quedó realmente Cuba como un país libre? En esta parada revisaremos las condiciones sociales y económicas más cercanas y que impulsaron la Revolución liderada por Fidel Castro
¿De dónde salió Fidel Castro? ¿Quién era Fulgencio Bastista y que provocó en Cuba el golpe de estado de 1952? Primera lucha revolucionaria, desarrollo de la guerrilla revolucionaria y triunfo final de la Revolución Cubana Veremos el barco donde vinieron 82 Guerrilleros entre los que estaban el Che, Camilo Cienfuegos y Fidel.
¿Cómo ocurrió en Cuba el momento más cercano en toda la historia mundial a una guerra nuclear? ¿Por qué el gobierno cubano se alía a la URSS?
Veremos ese majestuoso edificio que fue sede de los gobiernos cubanos hasta el triunfo de la Revolución y actualmente es el Museo de La Revolución. También veremos cómo empezó la agresión norteamericana hasta el día de hoy y en qué consiste el bloqueo económico y financiero impuesto por EEUU a Cuba.
Veremos la única estatua ecuestre que existe de José Martí (el héroe nacional de Cuba) y por qué es el símbolo de acercamiento entre EEUU y Cuba en el último mandato de Barack Obama. Qué cambios trajo ese acercamiento y la situación actual de las relaciones entre Cuba y EEUU, necesario también para conocer la situación política y económica en la Isla.
Desde esta parada –saliéndonos un poco de la historia de La Revolución pero no de la historia de Cuba– veremos la fortaleza más grande construida por España en toda América y la importancia que siempre tuvo Cuba para España y para otros imperios.
Volviendo a la Cuba posrevolucionaria analisaremos los cambios económicos en Cuba, desde una economía con control total por parte del estado de la producción de bienes y servicios a la aplicación paulatinamente desde la caída de la URSS y los países del bloqueo socialista de recetas de economía de mercado...
Aquí veremos las contradicciones de haber logrado Cuba una Revolución cultural y educacional pero como muchos de esos profesionales creados de esa misma Revolución sienten la necesidad de trabajar en un sector por el que no estudiaron o emigrar...
Aquí les mostraré un poco de como divide su salario un cubano, la magia. Verán un recibo de la electricidad, el agua, la libreta de abastecimiento (lo que en España le decían cartilla de racionamiento) y les comentaré un poco para descontruir esos mitos y rasgar en una información más objetiva.
Aparte de ser el lugar donde por primera vez se cantó el Himno de Galicia, es la sede del Ballet Nacional de Cuba (de los más prestigiosos del mundo) y símbolo del acceso tanto a la educación artística como a la apreciación del arte por parte de todos los cubanos.
Uno de los edificios más monumentales de La Habana (para no decir el más). Actual sede de la Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular.
