We will leave from the Makrigiannis Statue, explaining a bit who the hero was and if the group wants it a bit of the importance of the Greek Revolution of 1822 in the history of Modern Greece. Little by little we will go below the Acropolis, contemplating on our right the Sacred Rock, the Theater of Dionysus and its green slopes. After our walk, we will go to the Mount of Filopappo, or the Mountain of the Muses, Paleochristian Churches, the tomb of Socrates, the Wall of Themistocles, the Temple of the Muses (where modern Hellenists continue to honor the Gods as our Ancestors) and finally the monument to Filopappo, which gives the hill its modern name. It is a walk with a view of scandal that requires comfortable shoes and a bottle of fresh water for breaks. It can be done by people of any physical condition that is able to walk, we will stop to catch air and explain our route.
