Boat tour from Venice: Murano - Burano - Torcello with on-board guide
Set sail from Venice for a full-day tour to discover the wonderful islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Depending on the chosen option, departure can be from San Marco - Cornoldi Pier or from the Venice train station, near KFC.
Our first stop is Murano: here, you will discover why this island is world-famous for glassmaking, visit a local furnace, and watch a master glassblower at work during a live demonstration. Overall, you will have about one hour of free time on the island to browse the shops and buy items in the many artistic glass stores.
Next, you will head to Burano, famous for its ancient lace-making tradition and its colorful houses: here you will have about two hours of free time to choose a nice place for lunch, taste typical Venetian aperitifs, or enjoy an ice cream in one of the island’s many cafés. In Burano by asking one of our staff in the boat you'll be able to enter the Lace Museum for Free (closed on Monday)
From Burano, you will finally move to Torcello, the oldest lagoon settlement: here you will have about one hour to explore the island independently, with the possibility to visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and admire its famous Veneto-Byzantine mosaics (entry ticket not included).
Return to San Marco & Train Station is scheduled for the late afternoon.
- Admire the emerald Venetian Lagoon from the onboard panoramic terrace
- Enjoy free time on the islands to explore, shop, and savor local cuisine
- Experience the lagoon islands of Burano, Torcello, and Murano by boat
- Lace Museum for Free in Burano (closed on Monday, please ask our staff)
- See how intricate glass ornaments are made at a glass factory in Murano
