Homestead: Everglades Alligator Farm Entry and Airboat Ride

Begin your adventure with a 20 to 25-minute airboat ride, gliding across the waters at high speeds. Feel the thrill of 360-degree spins and splashes as you glide across the water. Please note, it’s a WET ride, so come prepared for a little fun! Ear protection is provided to ensure a comfortable experience. Keep your eyes peeled for native wildlife, including birds, turtles, and the iconic American alligator.

After your airboat ride, continue your journey at the Everglades Alligator Farm. Watch live alligator feeding demonstrations and learn about these fascinating creatures during the alligator handling shows. Stroll through the farm to see hundreds of alligators in their natural habitat while gaining insight into their behavior, biology, and conservation. In addition, guests can explore our diverse animal exhibits featuring crocodiles, reptiles, and a variety of bird species, along with unique wildlife such as bobcats, fennec foxes, kinkajous, and capybaras, offering an up-close look at an extraordinary range of animals from around the world. NOTE: We’re located in the Everglades, but not within the national park, so there are no national park entry fees.

• We’re open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and you’re welcome to visit at any time during those hours. Once you arrive, we’ll get you on the next available airboat. Remember, this is a WET ride.
