Looking for an unforgettable way to experience Tuscany beyond the typical tourist path? Join us for a small-group bike tour that’s been delighting travellers since 1993 — a scenic ride through the rolling hills of Chianti, led by passionate locals who know and love this land.
Starting from our bike depot in Florence’s Oltrarno district, you’ll leave the city behind and climb toward the panoramic hills, cycling through postcard-perfect Tuscan landscapes: ancient olive groves, sun-kissed vineyards, rustic stone villas, and tree-lined country roads.
Midday, we arrive at a family-run farm in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. This is no tourist trap — it’s a real, working estate devoted to winemaking and olive oil production. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes tour of the property and learn about traditional harvesting methods, from grape to glass and olive to oil.
Then comes everyone’s favourite part: lunch! Sit down to a lovingly prepared, light Tuscan meal made with local, seasonal ingredients — served with the farm’s own wines and golden extra virgin olive oil.
After lunch, we hop back on our bikes for the return ride to Florence. The good news? It’s mostly downhill from here, which means more time to relax, take in the views, and let the magic of the day sink in.
This tour is ideal for curious, active travellers who want to go deeper, to taste, see, and feel Tuscany in an authentic way. It’s a blend of light adventure, cultural immersion, and delicious discovery. And with our experienced guides and small group sizes, it always feels personal, never rushed.
Important note: There are quite strong hills to climb (it is Tuscany, after all!). If you're unsure about your fitness level or just want a more relaxed ride, feel free to request an e-bike during the booking process (25 euros extra per E-bike to be paid on the morning of the tour)
