Day Trip from Lisbon to the Berlengas Archipelago
Depart from central Lisbon and travel north toward the coastal town of Peniche in an air-conditioned vehicle with a small group of maximum 8 participants. Upon arrival at the harbor, board a shared boat for a 40-minute open-sea crossing to Berlenga Grande, the main island of the Berlengas Nature Reserve (Reserva Natural das Berlengas).

Board a specialized glass-bottom boat for an included guided cruise around the island's coastal waters. This boat ride allows you to observe the marine life through the glass floor and navigate inside the regional stone caves and narrow granite cliff formations.
Nature Reserve Exploration and Hiking
Join your local guide for a walk along the designated trails of the protected reserve. Observe the local flora, nesting seabird colonies, and unique geological formations. The route leads to the historical Fort of Saint John the Baptist (Forte de São João Baptista), built in the 17th century, featuring a stone bridge structure over the ocean.
Free Time and Swimming
Take a break for lunch at the island's local restaurant (at your own expense) or enjoy a picnic on the beach. Use your free time to relax on the sand of Praia do Carreiro do Mosteiro or swim in the Atlantic waters before the afternoon boat crossing back to Peniche.
