Portuguese Tapas Class and Market Tour With Lunch and Wine

Your adventure begins with a gastronomic tour led by a professional chef through the renowned Mercado de Bolhao. Here, you'll source the freshest ingredients for your cooking session.

Next, you'll stroll back to the kitchen at Boutique Maison Canto De Luz. Here, you can savour a Barista-style coffee and a freshly baked nata pastry before rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in.

Brace yourself for an engaging session. After observing the chef's techniques, you'll have the opportunity to recreate the dishes yourself.

The day's highlight will be savouring the dishes you've prepared, paired with a crisp glass of Douro Valley wine, while sharing stories with fellow participants. (Additional wine is available for purchase)

As a farewell token, each participant will receive a goodie bag filled with recipes and a travel-friendly bottle of Aguardente, ideal for flame-grilling chorizo at home.

Know in advance:

• Please dress appropriately for the market tour and don't wear open-toed shoes for hygiene in the kitchen
• You will receive an apron to protect your clothes for work in the kitchen
• The walk from the market to the kitchen takes about 10 minutes. You may want to bring an umbrella if it looks like rain
• It's your sole responsibility to ensure that the ingredients you use and consume suit your health needs, including dietary requirements and allergies. Be vigilant about the ingredients provided and ask for alternatives
• Ingredients may contain or have been manufactured/prepared on shared equipment with wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish, soya, shellfish or other allergens
• When you book, you must inform the local operator about your dietary requirements and reconfirm those when you arrive with the chef
• Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult
