After visiting Pienza, the tour continues to Montalcino, a medieval hill town internationally renowned for its prestigious wines, especially Brunello di Montalcino. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy local wine tastings and traditional Tuscan products, experiencing the authentic flavors of the region.
The journey then takes us to Monteriggioni, one of the best-preserved fortified villages in Italy. Surrounded by impressive 13th-century defensive walls, this small medieval town is famous worldwide for inspiring settings in a popular video game where the protagonist battles the legendary Knights Templar. A dedicated museum is included in the tour experience.
Before returning, enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rolling emerald hills that transform into golden fields during summer. Film lovers may even recognize scenery featured in the iconic movie Gladiator, filmed along these very hills.
