Fátima at Night –Candlelight Procession with Spiritual Guide

Experience one of Portugal's most moving evenings by taking part in the famous Candlelight Procession at the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the world's most important pilgrimage destinations. More than a sightseeing tour, this is a meaningful spiritual experience designed for those who wish to discover the true heart of Fátima through its history, message and traditions. Throughout the evening, you will be accompanied by a Spiritual Guide, who will help you better understand the history of the apparitions and the spiritual significance of the places you will visit, allowing you to experience Fátima in a deeper and more authentic way. At the scheduled time, meet us at Praça Marquês de Pombal 12A, where we will board our comfortable minibus and begin our journey to Fátima. During the drive, your Spiritual Guide will introduce the story of the 1917 apparitions, the lives of the three shepherd children and the message of Our Lady of Fátima, preparing you for one of the most unforgettable evenings of your journey through Portugal. Upon arrival at the Sanctuary, guests who wish may attend the 7:15 PM Holy Mass in Spanish, celebrated inside the Chapel of the Apparitions, the exact place where, according to Catholic tradition, the Virgin Mary appeared to the three shepherd children. Participation is entirely optional. Guests who prefer may enjoy free time to visit the Sanctuary, pray, light a candle or simply experience the peaceful atmosphere of this sacred place. You will then visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto and Sister Lúcia are buried, as well as the Chapel of the Apparitions and the impressive Basilica of the Holy Trinity. As evening falls, join thousands of pilgrims from all over the world for the International Rosary, followed by the unforgettable Candlelight Procession. During this extraordinary celebration, the original statue of Our Lady of Fátima is carried across the Sanctuary while pilgrims accompany her in prayer, holding candles that illuminate the entire esplanade. The silence, the prayers and the sea of lights create one of the most moving spiritual experiences in Europe. At the end of the celebration, relax on the journey back to Lisbon. For your convenience, we also offer complimentary hotel drop-off within Lisbon, allowing you to end the evening in complete comfort.
