After booking with us, you will experience the artistic and historical layers of Rome with a curated day that blends Renaissance opulence, ancient mysteries, and authentic flavours.
You will begin your journey by yourself at the Doria Pamphilj Gallery, for which you will be provided the entrance ticket, one of the city’s most prestigious private art collections. As you wander through the Four Galleries and the Hall of Mirrors, you will use a multilingual audio guide to discover masterpieces by Caravaggio, Titian, and Velázquez, all housed within an architectural jewel that still serves as a princely residence.
After immersing yourself in fine art, you will then head to your Roman lunch. Here, you will be met by our dedicated host, who will ensure your chosen meal is perfectly arranged so that you can relax and enjoy a traditional Roman-style pizza or pasta, which you have selected with this booking and a tiramisu, the perfect moment to romanticise, refuel and soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Your host will be on hand during the lunch arrangement to assist with any doubts or questions and help you prepare for the next leg of your journey.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure to select ONE, either a pizza or a pasta, from the given options as an add-on with no extra charge. One Tiramisu will be given to each person. You will receive the Meal options via GYG message after your booking. You need to let us know your meal preference, when the list of items available is shared with you.
The final chapter of your experience takes you underground to the mysterious Catacombs. After the lunch with the host, you will head by yourself to the Catacombs. These ancient burial tunnels offer a hauntingly beautiful look into early Christian history. Upon arrival, you will join a professional on-site guided tour in your preferred language (English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, or Polish) that you have booked with us. You will walk through the labyrinthine corridors as your guide shares the secrets of these sacred sites, concluding a seamless day of Roman culture, art, and history.
Special note for our cherished travellers: This package includes all entry tickets. While a host manages your seamless lunch experience, the Gallery visit is self-guided with an audio guide, which will be provided to you, and the Catacombs tour is led by official site specialists to ensure the highest quality historical insight. Going from one attraction to the other is up to you. Make a note that we do not provide that, and the host will not be accompanying you.
