Embark on an excursion to the South Rim from Las Vegas, where you will encounter a stunning sunrise over the southern edge of the Grand Canyon. This journey also includes visits to the breathtaking formations of Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend.
Details of the Day Trip
At the predetermined time, we will collect you from your hotel in Las Vegas and proceed eastward into the rugged Arizona desert.
During our journey, we will pass the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and take a break midway for you to enjoy breakfast at your leisure and use the restroom.
After approximately 4.5 hours of tranquil driving, traversing the Mojave Desert and the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, we will arrive at Grand Canyon National Park. This magnificent site is recognized as one of the major natural wonders across the globe.
Upon arrival, we will explore the southern section of the Grand Canyon, affectionately referred to as the South Rim, noted for its breathtaking scenery. Here, we will pause to witness a magnificent sunrise. The striking reddish hues of the rock formations and the shapes sculpted by the Colorado River over millennia will leave you in awe. Enjoy mesmerizing views from various lookout areas.
After the sunrise spectacle, we will embark on a 2.5-hour drive to Horseshoe Bend, renowned for its striking bend in the Colorado River. Discover the fascinating geological history that has shaped this remarkable location.
A brief 15-minute journey from Horseshoe Bend will take us to Antelope Canyon. Accompanied by a Navajo guide, we will enter this stunning red sandstone gorge that is sure to captivate your senses!
Next, we will allocate one hour for you to enjoy lunch independently. Following your meal, we will commence our 4.5-hour return trip to Las Vegas, with a stop along the way for restroom needs and a visit to the Glen Canyon Dam, where photo opportunities await at Lake Powell.
This 18-hour excursion will conclude with your return back to your Las Vegas hotel.

April to August
- Hotel pickups in Las Vegas occur between 10 PM and 12 AM
- Return trips to Las Vegas are between 6 PM and 7 PM
September to March
- Hotel pickups in Las Vegas transpire between 11 PM and 1 AM
- Return trips to Las Vegas happen between 7 PM and 8 PM
Note: As this tour prioritizes the sunrise experience, please be aware that pickup will be organized during the night or early morning prior to your selected date. For instance, a reservation for September 19 will entail pickup between 11 PM on September 18 and 1 AM on September 19. Similarly, for a booking on May 3, we will collect you between 10 PM and 11:59 PM on May 2.
To confirm the precise pickup time, we will send you a notification via email or message 24 hours before the activity, accounting for the varying sunrise times throughout the year.

The exact pickup time will depend on the sunrise time in each season. For this reason, 24 hours before the activity, the local team will send you an email or SMS text message to confirm the exact pickup time.
Non-Resident Fee
Access to both national parks requires the payment of a mandatory fee for non-residents, which is not included in the price of the day trip.
Children under 16 accompanied by an adult do not need to pay the fee.
You can obtain your tickets through two options:
Option 1: annual pass for 4 people for 250USD
- Valid for up to 4 adults travelling together
- Allows entry to all national parks for one year
- Simply show the pass to the guide
- Payment online (https://www.recreation.gov/interagency-pass/types/nonresident) or in person
Option 2: individual pass for 100USD per person
- Payment is per person, per park
- The amount goes directly to the National Park Service
- Payment can be made online or in person
