Through this route, you will be able to explore up close the different oenological interpretations of the same precious grape, discovering first-hand how this extraordinary variety can amaze, evolve, and be appreciated in its many nuances, closely linked to the mineral richness of our lava soil.
The journey begins in the beating heart of the estate with a guided visit through our vineyards and inside the company. Walking among the rows with a guide, you will discover the volcanic soil that gives these wines a unique signature. You will learn about the history of the territory, the Cantine Eredi dei Papi, and the winemaking techniques that allow this variety to express itself at the height of its elegance.
We then proceed with a guided tasting route specifically designed to show the incredible versatility of this grape variety. You will have the opportunity to taste three glasses of our production to explore different interpretations in white: the "Caparbio", IGT Lazio Bianco, fresh and vibrant; the "Albagìa", DOC Roma Malvasia Puntinata, and the "Galatea", IGT Lazio Malvasia.
The route will culminate with the tasting of a surprising and further transformation of this variety: an artisanal spirit of your choice from our Italian Premium gin, white grappa, or barrique-aged brandy.
The entire food tasting will be accompanied by a platter of cold cuts and cheeses and delicious hot finger food.

Know before you go
- HOW TO REACH US BY METRO AND SHUTTLE: Take Metro Line C to "Pantano". Outside the station, you will find the TPL public shuttle (operated by "Corsi & Pampanelli"). Ask to be dropped off at the Via delle Marmorelle stop, located right in front of the estate's entrance (Monday to Saturday).
- PRIVATE TRANSFER: You can request a service with a driver. We do not manage it directly, but we will gladly provide you with the contact details of a partner company for pick-up at your hotel or at the train station (Frascati/Colle Mattia).
- REACHING US BY TRAIN: From Rome Termini, take the train to "Frascati" or "Colle Mattia". Alternatively, get off at "Galleria Colonna": from there, a path of about 700 meters on foot will take you to the estate.
