Your guide meets you in Montmartre, at the foot of the hill crowned by the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, reached by funicular.
From there, you'll wander through the Place du Tertre with its painters and cafés, past La Maison Rose, the vines of the Clos Montmartre, the Moulin de la Galette, Van Gogh's former home, the café made famous by Amélie, and on to the Moulin Rouge — hearing along the way the stories of the painters who lived and worked in this neighborhood:
Picasso, Dalí, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, Suzanne Valadon, Modigliani. You'll pause for a coffee or tea, with a macaron on the side.
The tour continues to the Opéra district, where you'll ride up to the rooftop of the Galeries Lafayette for a sweeping view over Paris.

From there, the walk carries you into the Latin Quarter and the Île de la Cité, past the Panthéon, Saint-Étienne-du-Mont, the Fontaine Médicis, and the Sorbonne, before arriving at Sainte-Chapelle and finishing at Notre-Dame Cathedral.
