The London Underground, or the Tube as it's more commonly known, isn't just a transport system - it is an icon of London. With more than 1.3 billion passenger journeys made across its 270 stations each year, it's become the lifeblood of the city, and this tour promises to show you how. Beginning with the construction of the Thames Tunnel in 1843, the world's first tunnel built underneath a river, the 175-year history of the London Underground is an eventful one full of world-firsts, stories and urban legends.
