The Jerónimos Monastery is a National Monument and was classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Step onto these significant grounds for a snoop around inside, where you can explore the whole place and ponder its homage to Portuguese identity and culture. Don't forget to look up at the frescoed vaulted ceilings!

Take a seat in the 16th-century cloister and peer inside the former monks’ refectory. Not only is this a thrilling trip through Lisbon's history, the views over the Tagus River from the grounds are exceptional.

* You don't need to go to the Museum of Archaeology in the building adjacent to Jerónimos to get the tickets – with your e-ticket, you can go directly to the entrance of the Monastery
* Even with a reserved timeslot, please prepare for long wait times outside the venue, especially in high season
* Please note that there are very few places to sit and rest outside of the venue

The date on the ticket will be the issue date, not the visit date
You may enter the venue up to 1 hour after your selected timeslot depending on the amount of visitors
Some parts of the venue are not available due to renovations
Portugal residents get free entry on Sundays, holidays, and 52 special days yearly with a Citizen Card.
