Ride a historic steam train and watch penguins on the beach

Start from a central Melbourne CBD location in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and travel to the Dandenong Ranges.

At Emerald Lake, take a walk around the lake and purchase lunch at your own expense. Then board the Puffing Billy steam train from Emerald to Belgrave and travel through the Dandenong Ranges.

Continue to the Nobbies Tourist Information Centre to learn about the Nobbies Blowhole and Seal Rock precinct. At the Nobbies Lookout, take in the views, then follow the boardwalk along the coast to the Blowhole and Seal Rock.

At Phillip Island, purchase dinner at the venue before watching the Penguin Parade. See the penguins emerge from the waves, cross the sand, and return to their burrows.
