Discover the charms of the English countryside and explore historic landmarks on this tour of Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, the Cotswolds, and Warwick Castle from London.

Day Trip Details

Meet near Victoria Station at the designated time and set off in a comfortable luxury coach into the English countryside. As we drive through the Cotswolds, enjoy views of rolling hills and picturesque villages.

The first stop will be Warwick Castle, built by William the Conqueror almost 1000 years ago. Upon arrival, participate in a meet-and-greet experience with a medieval host and introduction to the castle. Engage in fun interactive activities, including trying on a helmet and catching a glimpse of a Victorian dinner party in the Staterooms.

Next, we'll visit Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Explore this charming market town and visit the home of the famous playwright.

Our final stop is in Oxford, home to the oldest university in the UK. A guided walking tour will take us through cobbled streets to see notable sites like the Bodleian Library and we will enter the 13th-century University Church of St Mary the Virgin.

After a full day of sightseeing, return to London, with drop-off at the original meeting point after a total of 10 hours.

During booking, choose from the following options:

Day Trip + Admission Tickets: access to Warwick Castle and admission to Shakespeare's Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Day Trip + Warwick Castle: visit the medieval castle with free time in Stratford-upon-Avon without entering the writer's home.
Day Trip: enjoy transfers and a guided tour of the exterior; this option does not include admission tickets.

Instructions

Meet your guide at Bus Stop 1, Bulleid Way, Victoria, London, SW1W 9SH(on the Victoria, District and Circle tube lines).

Please be at the meeting point at 8 am to check in. The tour will depart at 8:30 am.

Drop-off

Please note, due to a legal working hours restriction for drivers, if your tour arrives back into London after 7:45 pm, you'll be dropped off at Gloucester Road Underground Station, not Victoria. Your driver will drop you off within a couple of minutes' walk to Gloucester Road Underground Station. Gloucester Road is in Zone 1 and is three stops on the Circle or District Lines to Victoria. The Piccadilly Line also runs through Gloucester Road, where it is only 5 stops to Piccadilly Circus.
