Tour Options

During the reservation process for your Madrid excursion, you can select between a journey to Ribera del Duero or the Tagus Valley. Detailed information about each option is provided below:

Tagus Valley Tour (6 hours)

Your adventure begins at the designated meeting point, Plaza del Conde de Casal, 6. From there, we will travel towards the Tagus Valley and the Las Vegas region, recognized as the origin of the Vinos de Madrid Designation of Origin, where rich traditions and modern techniques harmoniously blend to create distinctive wines.

After approximately 45 minutes on the road, we'll reach our first winery, known for its 80-year-old vines—a true hallmark of the region. Here, you will interact with the owners, tour the facilities, and sample various wines paired with appetizers while gaining insights into organic viticulture.

Following this, we will visit another town within the Region of Madrid, where a traditional winery still uses clay jars for its wine production, a practice that has lasted for centuries. The winemaker will share both the artisanal family legacy and the techniques behind the production as you enjoy tastings paired with a typical local dish.

Our final destination will be a fifth-generation family-run winery, featuring ancient caves ideal for wine aging. Here, you will indulge in tastings of white, red, and sparkling wines, accompanied by a regional culinary specialty.

Concluding this 6-hour experience, we will return to our initial meeting location in Madrid.

Ribera del Duero Tour (11 hours)

We'll gather at Plaza del Conde de Casal, 6, at the scheduled time before embarking on a bus journey to Castilla y León. This region is the heart of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, revered as one of the finest wine areas in Spain.

Throughout this excursion, you will visit three distinct wineries to uncover the complete wine-making journey, from caring for the vineyards to the aging process in oak barrels.

At each winery, you'll participate in tastings, learning to identify the unique aromas and flavors characteristic of Ribera del Duero wines, all while enjoying pairings of local cheeses and traditional cured meats.

After the visits, you will have 45 minutes to relish a meal at a traditional restaurant at your own cost, giving you the opportunity to savor the exquisite cuisine of Castilla.

We will then head back to the original meeting location in Madrid, bringing this enriching 11-hour journey to a close.
