The Lisbon Zoo is the oldest of its kind in the Iberian Peninsula, dating all the way back to 1884. Right in the heart of Lisbon, you can plan a day at the zoo and turn it into a one-day exploration of the entire planet!

Start by discovering the Sumatran tigers in the dense vegetation of the humid rainforest, observe the behavior of lions, giraffes and elephants as they roam the arid African savanna, and be dazzled by the majestic and colorful birds of South America.
