Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at 24 State St., at One Battery Park Plaza. Once we're all together, we'll skip the lines and board the ferry that will bring us to Liberty Island. Ready to explore one of the biggest tourist attractions in New York?
As our cruise begins, we will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline. The skyscrapers of the Financial District and the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg bridges will be prominent in the photos taken from the ferry as we sail toward the Statue of Liberty, the first stop of our tour.
Upon our arrival at Liberty Island, we will take a guided tour to discover the secrets of this small island. We will explore its historical significance and the reasons behind the great symbol of New York being situated here. You can rest assured that our focus will remain on the Statue of Liberty throughout the visit.
After taking in its remarkable exterior, time will be allocated for you to enter the Statue of Liberty Museum. This is an ideal venue to learn about the history behind this iconic sculpture and view unique artifacts.
After spending approximately 2 hours on Liberty Island, we will return to the ferry and travel to Ellis Island. While sailing, we will share interesting facts about the island, which historically served as a gateway for immigrants to the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries. The National Immigration Museum can be visited at your own pace, showcasing the compelling stories of individuals who came from across the globe after their arduous journeys.
An hour later, after our exploration of the past, we will board the ferry again to return to Manhattan. Once we arrive at Battery Park, we will commence a 1-hour walking tour of Wall Street. This tour includes notable sites such as Federal Hall and the New York Stock Exchange before arriving at Ground Zero, the site of the former Twin Towers.
During our time at Ground Zero, we will discuss the terrorist attack that struck New York on September 11, 2001, and visit the 9/11 Memorial. These extensive pools pay tribute to the 3,000 victims of the attack, with their names engraved on the sides. We will also appreciate the 400 oak trees surrounding the memorial and the renowned survivor tree.
Finally, after approximately 5 hours, we will conclude this comprehensive tour of New York at 180 Greenwich Street.
9/11 Museum Tickets
For those looking to enhance this experience, the best option is to book the tour with tickets to the 9/11 Museum. This allows you to continue your exploration of the history surrounding the attack that affected the city by visiting an impressive collection of more than 10,000 objects, which includes testimonies, photographs, and material recovered from the rubble of the Twin Towers.
If you choose this option, once the tour is complete, you will have free time to visit the 9/11 Museum independently. The visit typically lasts around 1.5 hours.
