In this tour & tasting experience with official guide you will discover how coffee played a crucial role in the modernist & contemporany artist of the city.
During the tour, we explore the evolution of the city walking around the old town. We will start with The Ribera quarter, where the artisans have been working hand made since the middle age. After that, we will reach the Gothic quarter, the origin of the city, and the inspiration for many modernist artist. At the end of the tour, we will reach the area of MACBA, where the next gen of artists are bulding the urban city of today.
During these 2 coffee tastings (approximately 10 minutes each) you will taste some of the most delicious local brews.
Within the tour, we visit two different art galleries.
The first one is Sala Pares, the most emblematic art gallery of the city with a series of prestigious Catalan painters as Miró.
The second stop is Hey Shop. This cozy and modern place is a coffee & graphic design flagship store of an awarded graphic agency based in Barcelona. Here, you will discover the new trends of illustration.
