Step inside Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia and discover Barcelona’s most iconic monument with an expert guide. For an even more complete experience, choose the option with access to the Passion Tower and see Barcelona from above.
Your tour begins at the Nativity Facade. Look closely at its richly decorated surface, where scenes from the birth of Christ are surrounded by plants, animals, and symbols inspired by nature. Filled with detail and movement, this facade reflects Gaudi’s celebration of life and creation.
Next, stop at the model of the completed Sagrada Familia and see how the basilica will look once finished. Your guide will explain the evolution of the project and how architects continue working from Gaudi’s vision more than a century after construction began.
Learn about the recently completed exterior of the Tower of Jesus Christ, the Sagrada Familia’s 172.5-metre central tower and the highest point of the basilica. Crowned by a monumental cross, the tower was blessed by Pope Leo XIV in June 2026, exactly 100 years after Gaudi’s death.
Then, step inside the basilica and look up. Towering columns branch out like trees, creating the feeling of standing beneath a vast stone forest. As sunlight passes through the stained-glass windows, the interior fills with changing shades of red, green, blue, and gold.
Continue to the Passion Facade, a striking contrast to the Nativity side. Its sharp lines and dramatic sculptures depict the final days of Christ and reveal a completely different side of the basilica’s story and architecture. If you selected the Passion Tower option, continue to one of the basilica’s most impressive viewpoints. Take the elevator up the Passion Tower and enjoy views over Barcelona’s city centre. The tower visit is not guided, and the descent is made on foot via the tower staircase.
Finally, enjoy free time to explore the Sagrada Familia Museum. Discover Gaudi’s original models, drawings, photographs, and architectural experiments, including the famous hanging model that illustrates how he developed the structure of this extraordinary masterpiece.
