Book a full-day trip that combines the visit of Claude Monet's bloom-bursting estate at Giverny and the famously extravagant Palace of Versailles.

Embark on an unforgettable day trip that pairs the grandeur of the iconic Palace of Versailles with the serene beauty of Claude Monet's estate at Giverny.

Your journey begins in the morning as you head to Versailles, a symbol of royal opulence in Europe. With priority access, an expert guide will lead you through a fascinating two-hour tour of the King and Queen's Apartments, the Chapel, the Coronation Room, and the resplendent Hall of Mirrors. As you explore, you'll hear tales of Louis XIV and the splendour of French court life. Following your palace visit, you'll have time to wander through the meticulously maintained Gardens of Versailles, spanning 1800 acres. On certain days, you can witness the musical gardens or fountain show, where water features perform a mesmerising dance.

Take time to relax or savour lunch before continuing your adventure. In the afternoon, bid farewell to Versailles and travel through the tranquil Normandy countryside to reach Giverny, once home to Claude Monet. After a brief introduction, you're free to discover Monet's home and gardens at your leisure using a self-guided audio app. Wander across the renowned Japanese bridge, admire the water lily pond, and step inside his vibrantly decorated home. The day ends with a return journey to Paris.
