The tour is AMAZING! Do it!!! You get to catch a lot of different sides of the city, because you are way faster by bike. And honeslty: I didn’t expect it to be this safe and easy to cycle in Chiang Mai’s traffic. San is a great guide. He really overdelivers. His English is very good and his knowledge is incredible. Don’t hesitate and get in the bike! ;-)
Few things to keep in mind: better come well fed and stay hydrated. Women may also want to bring clothes to cover up for entering the temples.

Charin is a fount of historical information. Having been a monk his knowledge of Buddhism and the Lanna language are very impressive.
It was a great experience to have him as a guru.

Chris is very knowledgeable about the Buddhist religion and way of life. I liked his quiet style and clear explanations. There could have been more on the history of Chiang Mai.

He hecho muchos free tour como turista por todo el mundo y es la primera vez que el guía establece un precio. Al inicio estableció un precio de 100 THB/persona (entradas a parte) por cada templo visitado y a parte la propina que según nos indicó sería para él. No era algo orientativo, si no que al finalizar cobró 300THB por persona. Eso no es Free tour
