Loved the tour. We have travelled in Japan and China and went to loads of free tours. This was one of the best with appropriate and interesting information. Would fully recommend to anybody!!

From the meeting point Roy provided a tour that was informative and without issues. He escorted us through process of purchasing tickets to enter the temple complex and then gave the group background on the buildings and the history their purpose. He tailored the timing to the group's interest and was always willing to offer up more information. Thank you for a wonderful morning!

Great tour! The place is amazing! And Roy is a natural guide that loves sharing with the tourists an important number of historical facts that made us appreciate Beijing and the Chinese history in a lovable context! Thank you Roy for providing such a good service to non-Chinese tourists and with such a good English level, which we did not easily find during our holidays in China. Thank you!

We had a great tour with Roy in the Summer Palace. He shared an important number of historical facts that made the visit of this incredible place very enjoyable! We can see how much he loves his job and the Chinese history! We really appreciate that in Beijing he is the only one offering until now these type of tours on “free walking format” (remunerated based on the appreciation of the participants) in English for non-Chinese tourists!

Since we loved the Hutong Tour so much, we decided to make this tour with Roy. As people who had little background of the Chinese history, we loved this historical data filled tour. It really gives you a global vision of the place and it's history (essentially what is expected from a tour), with plenty of time to sit, take pics and many anecdotes of the life and customs of the Chinese people. Entry is not included, but it's 30-60 yuangs depending on how many inside "private" buildings you wanna visit. Roy's English is perfect. Definitely recommend!!!!

Roy loves the history and knows a lot. Great tour, he took us through the Hutong in slow and casual pace. Sharing fun facts and tips. Good tour to do early in your trip if you want good tips for things to see/do/eat.

Roy was so easy to talk to, easy to understand and full of great information. Made my wife and I really understand and appreciate the Chinese Culture, both old and new. I would recommend him to anyone!
