The tour with Thabo and his friend Lunga (another guide) was great. We first tasted a traditional dish (kota) and then travelled through Soweto. The guides gave us time to visit the markets and were very patient and courteous. They were able to answer all our questions, especially as they both come from Soweto. They also explained the current political situation to us and the influence of the elections, especially this year. We can only recommend this tour and would do it again and again. Top :)

We had an amazing time with Thabo, first of all he was so kind to wait for us even if we were late. Secondly, he explained many intresting facts and the history of his neighbourhood, including basic vocabulary in Zulu!
It was a great experience and we would have not visited the city in the same way without his company. Grazie!

Thabo was an amazing and incredibly friendly guide. He made sure to educate me and make me feel comfortable the entire time. This was an incredibly rich experience and i am so glad I did it. Thabo is such a kind person and really knows how to show you a rich experience. I recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

Thabo è un ragazzo entusiasta, educato e molto disponibile. È bastato poco più di mezz’ora per entrare in sintonia ed empatia divenendo il quinto di famiglia!
Birra a casa sua, pranzo da amici, aiutati nella ricerca disperata di una sim card….Top!!!

Thabo fue increible. Nos enseño realmente como un local toda la experiencia de soweto desde lo profundo, hicimos un recorrido increible lleno de informacion, historia y finalizamos con un almuerzo increible donde estaba almorzando el nieto de mandela. 100% recomendado y 100% seguro

Excellent tour experience! I was a bit skeptical of taking a tour of Soweto but very glad I did. Thabo had great stories, local information and helped us feel & stay safe. A couple of surprise experiences included a street performer who was a dancing contortionist and coming across the filming of scenes for the TV series The Amazing Race. Definitely a must do when in Johannesburg.
