Hi Melissa, thanks for your comment! In Madrid, you need to wait for an official call to pass the tests to receive your official license, like in Canarias or other Spanish communities. The last call was in 2017, while in the “decreto”, it’s said these calls should be made, “preferably”, every year…
So I hope a new call will come soon.
So an option as you said is to do the tests in Canarias.
But you still have 2 options:
– If you speak 2 foreign languagues (+Spanish), you may try the “pruebas libres” to get the Formación Profesional de Guía y asistencía turística, as you can read in this post. There is an call open until Feb. 8th (check it here: https://www.comunidad.madrid/servicios/educacion/pruebas-obtencion-titulos-tecnico-tecnico-superior-fp
Otherwise, if you have 3+ years of experience as a tour guide, you may try the official recognition to get the tour guide license, as explained in the post. There only 1 foreign language is needed.

Hola Fran, muchas gracias por tu mensaje. Aunque tienes la licencia de Aragón, puedes trabajar como guía en Valencia o Canarias. El carnet, aunque sacado en otra comunidad, es válido en todo el territorio español. Por eso, no sé si existe esa posibilidad de convalidar la licencia en otra comunidad ya que no veo la utilidad que te puede aportar (quizás estar en las listas oficiales de cada comunidad, pero no sé si aporta más allá). Sería preguntar directamente a las autoridades relevantes. Si lo haces, nos podrías avisar por aquí para adaptar el artículo?
