Mel gave a great tour through Capitol Hill, explaining the history and architecture in great detail, while also sharing interesting stories about the sites. She is extremely knowledgeable and is an engaging tour guide. I strongly recommend this tour!
Melissa was very professional; she conducted the tour with great dedication and provided important information throughout the entire route, without missing a single detail and without rushing—even though I was the only participant. I greatly appreciated her patience in explaining everything, especially since my English isn't the best; she did everything possible to convey the information in a way that I could understand.
Mel was great! Super friendly, very professional and knowledgeable. She made it so she would engage everyone in our party (even my 8yo). The tour itself was interesting and over all easy to walk. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful time learning about the architecture and history of the neighborhood. Mel was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the neighborhood. She was really passionate in her approach to teach us what she knew. It was perfect as someone who has lived here for almost a decade, and for my parents who were visiting from out of town.
