An enjoyable and useful walking tour with Javier. Initially this began in the gold museum and was focused on some of the key history of the area. We then explored a few parts of the city with additional insights being provided about the past, for the city and the country. There was perhaps a little too much time spent with ‘recommended’ vendors/restaurants/artists for our liking, but we certainly made some use of this information. Overall, a solid walking tour experience.

Javier spoke English well and took us to interesting locations in the centre of Santa Marta. He also gave us helpful advice for transportation and other local tours. Worth our time, better than other walking tours.
