Tour Details
We will meet at the designated time in the city center of Florence and set off together to explore this Renaissance city. Your English-speaking guide will provide insights into the Medici family and Florentine history.
The expert guide will take us to significant city symbols, starting with Saint Mark's Basilica, followed by the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which includes the Baptistery, Brunelleschi's Dome, and Giotto's Campanile. Nearby, you will see Dante's house and the Bargello.
Next, we will pass through the Piazza della Repubblica, an important square in Florence's history. We will then visit the Fontana del Porcellino, the bronze boar statue believed to bring luck. Continuing to Piazza della Signoria and Loggia dei Lanzi, we will admire the Palazzo Vecchio and the open-air museum of the Loggia, as well as see the Vasari Corridor from the outside before concluding at the Ponte Vecchio.
After exploring numerous piazzas and cobblestone streets, the walking tour will last between 1 hour and 1.5 hours.
