Mirjana is engaging and informative. She covers the main aspects of Upper Town that everyone should be aware of. I have been on a previous tour several years ago so I knew of many of the places but it is refreshing to hear it again and I was very happy to choose Mirjana to be the guide. I also felt the group would be smaller than certain other tours and I was proven correct and this also makes a difference. Mirjana also gave us an idea of what to do on one of our free days using public transportation (visit Samobor) plus she recommends certain reasonably priced restaurants. Please, please remember to tip your guide as it is a free tour. It appears that some attendees skipped out on tipping Mirjana which is completely unfair.
My husband and I have used GuruWalks in several European countries and have always learnt loads from very well informed and entertaining guides. Mirjana, I thought, was exceptionally good, and I enjoyed her tour all the more as the bad weather seemingly kept a number of people away - their loss, our gain!! Unfortunately my husband was ill so missed out today, but I would happily repeat the tour tomorrow so that he can enjoy and learn what I benefitted from today
