If you have only half or one day in Istanbul for a fun and affordable tour, this is what you are looking for. Haktan was amazing! The 2.5 hour morning trip was constantly entertaining, a lot of laughs, with so much knowledge and history. We visited garden, inside a mosque, the ferry trip fare is also covered, a lot of practical suggestions and hints throughout the walk. I attended Haktan's afternoon old-town tour too as a result, it is equally very well organized with all sights in the center. Be sure to do both to make an enjoyable full day.
Haktan was interesting, kind and extremely knowledgeable about the area, history and culture. We visited the major landmarks and hidden gems, where he provided insightful information about the multiple layers of the city and it’s varied history - we are joining one of his other tours after this experience, 100% recommend!
By far the best city tour we have ever taken. Extremely informative, well structured, and at the same time very entertaining. The guide presented the information with humor and ease, and we could have listened to him for many more hours. On top of that, he shared many great tips you wouldn’t find in any guidebook. Highly recommended :)
