Excellent introduction to History of the Palace and more generally of Split.
Ivan is an incredible tour guide who is so knowledgeable about every part of the city. He pointed out details in the architecture and design of the city that we would never have noticed or understood without the valuable context he provided. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants to orient themselves to the city and learn more about the Roman influence as well as recent history of the area. Ivan is so professional and the tour was not gimicky, which I really appreciated.

I learned so much about Diocletian’s life, his retirement palace and the continuing life of the palace and its inhabitants in the centuries that followed his death - Fascinating!
