It was a very informative excursión, Nikola was telling us the history of the country. We really enojes the time!
Nikola knows A LOT about Serbian history. He is not your stereotypical loud and boastful Serb, rather he can seem a bit timid in the begining. But ask him a question and he will give you a good and nuanced answer.For me, that is always an important quality in a guide but it is especially important in a city like Belgrade that is still battling with trauma from the war. So even though Nikola talks and walks in a slower pace than you might be used to: Take a deep breath, slow down, listen to what he has to tell and take in the complex beauty of Belgrade.
I highly recommend Nikola as a tour guide. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and exceptionally professional throughout our tour. Only at the end did we learn he had been recovering from food poisoning and was only allowed electrolytes, yet he showed no sign of discomfort and delivered a seamless, high-quality experience. His dedication and poise truly impressed us. I will definitely book his tour again.
